Hanna Stamps

I've been wanting to play with my Hanna Stamps for quite some time now, and finally I've had the chance to work with them. This is just one of the cards that I've made with this stamp set, featuring ladies dressed in different dresses from the 60s and 70s.

Another reason that I liked this set is the expression on the ladies' faces. The word that comes to mind is saucy!

Hanna Stamps has had a Design Team call. This is the thread talking about how to enter. and this card is my entry. I had to pick only one (which was hard), but I just love the way this came out. Wish me luck everyone!

My First Digital Layout

OK, so as we all know I tend to take on a lot of projects, thinking that I have all the time in the world to complete them. Unfortunately, this naive thinking often lands me in trouble, or rather my completed projects in trouble. And even though I enjoy crafting in all forms, some items get left on the back burner.
I've wanted to dive into the world of digital scrapbooking for awhile now, but just haven't had the time. Well, this morning, I decided that I would make time and boy am I ever glad I did. Take a look at my first digital layout!

I love it, even if I do say so myself! LOL I've visited a site called Scrap Girls. They have everything that a digital scrapper could ever want. I also purchased their ebook for Photoshop and it was worth every penny.
The book is made up of a series of videos that are extremely user friendly. I'm off to browse the site a bit more and see what other digital kits I can get.
One of the things that I'm going to enjoy most about digital scrapbooking is being able to easily share it with my family and friends.
Hope everyone had a great weekend, and that the week is stress free!

I Know, it's been Awhile...

Gosh, it seems like it's been forever since I posted. Life has been crazy lately and now Jeanne is off galavanting at the Grand Canyon, I'm at the shop 24/7! Not that I mind!
This is one of the latest cards I've done using the Bombshell Stamp line. I just adore these saucy ladies.

I colored her in with my Copic markers and the paper is from Creative Imaginations. It was already a pirate theme, so I only had to "burn" it.
Don't panic folks, no fire was involved. Over the next couple of days I'll put up a tutorial on how I did it.
Hope everyone has a wonderful day and of course my thoughts...
Why does Hawaii have interstate highways? HHHHhhmmmmm...
